XP Sport Blends Our new XP Sport blends have been slightly modified for 2006. We’ve changed the Castor oil to a higher grade Klotz BeNol that is pressed, degummed and extra-fortified for maximum reliability. BeNOL provides twice the level of film strength and load carrying capacity over conventional Castor oils. It also burns cleaner and offers a flash point of 520 degrees F. For further information on our oils please see our specs page. With the above statement in mind we slightly lowered the amount of Castor oil in these blends, which in turn slightly lowered the overall oil content. This change gives our new blend a little more punch while still adequately protecting your engine. The new XP Sport blends contain 18% oil overall. Of this 18% - 80% is synthetic and 20% is Castor. The synthetic oil used is high-viscosity Klotz Techniplate. Available in two nitro percentages. XP Syn Xtreme Blend Our all-new XP Syn Xtreme blend has been added to satisfy those who seek the cleanest burning fuel available. This fuel is not only good for 2-stroke engines but is also a great choice for today’s 4-stroke engines. We’ve chosen a proprietary blend of both low- and high-viscosity Klotz synthetic oils to achieve a pure synthetic blend that will not only run great in 2-strokes but will protect your 4-stroke engines under even the most extreme conditions. XP Syn Xtreme contains 18% oil overall. Of this 18% - 100% is synthetic. The synthetic oil used is a proprietary blend of high-viscosity and low-viscosity Klotz oils to achieve medium viscosity. XP Heli Xtreme Blends Our all-new XP Heli Xtreme blend has been completely reformulated. Using a newly-developed oil by Klotz we have developed a blend very specific to today’s helicopter engines. “Klotz HeliGlow® is a special new generation light weight viscosity synthetic lubricant which provides enhanced flowability, improved lubrication with increased swept volume fuel charge for stronger performance”. See our specs page for further details on Heliglow oil. XP Heli Xtreme is formulated with low-viscosity synthetic oil and just a touch of Castor. XP Heli Xtreme contains 20% oil in the 15% nitro blend and 23% oil in the 30% nitro blend. Of the 20% and 23% oil - 90% is synthetic and 10% is Castor. XP Car Xtreme Blends It’s with our XP Car Xtreme Blends that has made the most dramatic change. To start with we’ve added Castor. But not just any Castor. We went with Klotz BeNol that is pressed, degummed and extra fortified for maximum reliability and load carrying capacity. Our synthetic oil is a proprietary blend of both low- and high-viscosity oils using Klotz Techniplate and a newly-released low-viscosity synthetic oil. We’ve also added our new XP-7 additive which has proven to lower head temperatures on average by 25%. Finally, we’ve also lowered the overall oil content. All these changes, combined with a much thinner (lower viscosity) oil, makes our new car fuel a pleasure to run and tune every time. XP Car Xtreme contains 11% oil overall. Of this 11% - 80% is synthetic and 20% is Castor. The synthetic oil used is a propriety blend of both low- and high-viscosity Klotz oil. XP Big Bore Blend XP Big Bore was developed to run in 2.0 cu in and larger glow engines. These engines require very little nitro and slightly less oil content than smaller 2-stroke engines. Although you can use any 2-stroke fuel, you will find very little change in performance or protection at a much higher cost. Our blend is formulated with both Klotz Castor and synthetic oils. XP Big Bore contains 14% oil overall. Of this 14% - 80% is synthetic and 20% is Castor. The synthetic oil used is Klotz Techniplate. Available in 5% nitro.
